2012 Olympics

Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a national team that did wear berets on these Olympics? I don't mean the Ralph Lauren creation that the American team wears (where has the world come to if you have to explain what a beret is to someone like Mr Lauren?), but a true, black, Basque beret?
it's not such a crazy thought, really. Have a look at these pictures below:

Meanwhile, I hope the American athletes do better than the designers who dressed them up.
